9.30am-12pm – Running the School – a leaders guide to behaviour management
This session will look at the habits and strategies of the most effective school leaders in the field of behaviour management. Running behaviour at a whole-school or department level is crucial to success.
1pm-3.30pm – Running the Room – better behaviour for school teachers
Everything we want to achieve for children in school comes down to their behaviour: safety, wellbeing, learning, creativity, mental health….if the behaviour isn’t right, all of these things suffer. This practical and evidence-informed ways session will help to build the best classroom habits.

Developing Problem Solving in Mathematics (23rd January 2pm-3:30pm)
The CPD session will explore the problem-solving strategies children can use to solve mathematical puzzles and problems independently.
It will focus on some of the key heuristics that equip children to become successful problem solvers including making a systematic list, acting it out, drawing a picture and ‘guess-check-improve’.
Delegates will consider the value of using worked examples to support pupils to think flexibly and logically in order to make sense of increasingly complex problems.
Please get in touch with the CPD hub if you would like access to any of these resource.
