Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships provide a structured route to developing skills and achieving nationally recognised qualifications. They are available to support a range of job roles and can be achieved while working in your current role. Below are some apprenticeships that may be of interest to you. For the full list of apprenticeship training courses available and what is required for each one you can visit the Gov.uk apprenticeship website.

There are a range of providers offering apprenticeships. Here are just a few providers you could consider in your search for the right apprenticeship.

I’ve found an apprenticeship I want to do, what do I do next?

  1. Confirm the details of the apprenticeship with the provider. This includes the length of the training, the requirements for starting, and the amount of study time required.
  2. Discuss these details with your line manager and obtain written approval. It’s also a good idea to start thinking about who could mentor you during your apprenticeship.
  3. Once you have approval, connect with your HR link.
  4. After HR has confirmed that the funding is approved, you can contact your chosen provider and begin your learning journey.
